Derek Wilson - Personal Injury Lawyer
Derek completed his LLB at the University of Alberta in 1993. He articled with Tick and Associates focusing on personal injury litigation.
In 1996, Derek left Tick and Associates to pursue a Master of Laws degree, which degree he successfully obtained with Merit from the London School of Economics. The Masters degree included a specialized focus on personal injury.
Derek was a partner at a prominent insurance defence firm between 2003 and 2008 before joining MSW. He now restricts his practice to helping injured plaintiffs.
Derek appears frequently before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. He has conducted several successful arbitrations and appeals. In addition he has conducted trials and numerous mediations.
He is a member of the Advocates Society and Hamilton Law Association.
