Karn Malholtra
Karn Malhotra received his Honours in B.A. from Kirori Mal College in 1983 and his LL.B. from Delhi University in 1986. He was called to the Indian Bar in 1986 and practised law in New Delhi for three years.
He relocated to Canada in 1989 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993. In 1998, he received his LL.M. in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Walter (Ted) Stayshyn
Walter (Ted) Stayshyn received his B.A. from Wilfred Laurier University in 1993 and his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario in 1996. Ted was a law student with the Hamilton law firms of Agro, Zaffiro in 1994 and Mackesy, Smye, Turnbull, Grilli, Jones, Winward and Mahler in 1995. He articled with Mackesy, Smye, prior to his call, where he worked extensively in civil litigation, focusing on personal injury, professional negligence, medical malpractice, and wrongful dismissal. Ted was called to the Bar in 1998.
Derek E. Wilson
Derek completed his LLB at the University of Alberta in 1993. He articled with Tick and Associates focusing on personal injury litigation.
In 1996, Derek left Tick and Associates to pursue a Master of Laws degree, which degree he successfully obtained with Merit from the London School of Economics. The Masters degree included a specialized focus on personal injury.
The Honourable Walter T Stayshyn
Former Superior Court Justice, Walter T. Stayshyn joined Malhotra Stayshyn & Wilson in November 2009 when he retired from the bench. His practice is focused on Mediations and providing advice to other lawyers.
Walter Stayshyn is a graduate of McMaster University, having received his B.A and having also been awarded his Letter in Football and Basketball, and Osgoode Hall Law School.
